Никто Вас не пугал, там написано "возможно". В статье брат тоже этого не утверждал, снова перечитала. И не на основании Даниила 10:1, а совсем другого текста. Вы статью не читали, правда же?

Но организация об этой войне ни гу-гу.

русском языке то же самое.
В
Восточном смысловом переводе и в
Новом переводе МБО опять написано о
"великой войне".
Есть еще один
русский перевод, который в 1996 году Общество Сторожевой Башни переиздало под названием "Священные Писания". Они написали, что это перевод архимандрита Макария, ПАМ. Когда-то читала, что это, возможно, какой-то другой русский перевод. Но это точно
русский перевод 19 века.
В Даниила 10:1 там тоже говорится о
"великой брани".
Брат упоминает это в статье, но никто же не читает. Очень зря.
Поэтому всё правильно. И контекст об этом говорит, о противостоянии двух царей до их последней битвы в Даниила 11:40-43.
Явившийся Даниилу "муж" был послан
по смиренной просьбе Даниила, чтобы разъяснить пророку
предыдущее откровение (Даниил 10:12). Оно касалось "великой войны". Даниил получил его до встречи с "мужем", скорбел и постился (Даниила 10:1-3,НМ). И молился чтобы его понять. Если бы первый стих говорил о только о видении "мужа", ничего не меняется. В этом откровении все равно разъясняется предыдущее. Если во втором видении разъяснялось первое, будет правильно говорить, что оба откровения касаются "великой войны".
